Angie Miller, M.S., LPC, is a Global Health & Fitness Specialist: Speaker, University Educator, & Licensed Professional Counselor who blends her skills and expertise to empower individuals and audiences worldwide, giving them mental and physical strategies for success. A gifted communicator and natural leader, Angie is recognized for her authentic approach to helping individuals rise to their potential. Her audiences range from mental health, corporate, and fitness professionals, to students at the university level, but no matter the age, stage, or status in life, Angie believes that we’re all connected by a desire to live our lives looking and feeling our personal best.
A respected fitness leader, Angie teaches workshops throughout the United States and abroad, educating health and fitness professional in the latest research and training methods. She has been invited to speak at some of the most recognized health and fitness conferences, including IDEA World. She is a Master Instructor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Kettlebell Concepts, and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America. At Northern Illinois University, Angie teaches in the Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education.
After caring for her mom who lost her battle with dementia, Angie began to look at exercise through a different lens. She is resolute in her mission to champion the power of exercise for more than just building biceps, sharing evidence based research that supports the positive effect of exercise on brain health and emotional wellbeing. In 2007, Angie took her passion for exercise to the big screen. A veteran group fitness instructor and certified personal trainer, she filmed her first in a series of highly acclaimed exercise DVD’s. Core & Strength Fusion, Crave Results, Kettlebell Bootcamp, Cardio & Strength Workout for Seniors, and her latest, Bedroom Body™ have been praised by fitness enthusiasts across the globe for their innovative style.
In a field that is constantly evolving, Angie remains on the cutting edge. She writes for fitness journals and online communities and publishes a weekly blog for CollageVideo.com. People are the common thread in all of Angie’s endeavors. Her audiences may vary, but the sincerity of her mission is a gift that allows her to connect with individuals on a personal level and create communities through her teaching. Her commitment to excellence is evident in all that she does.
